Considerations choosing height adjustable desks

Oscar Height Adjustable Desk

Height adjustable desks are very popular at the moment.

The prices have plummeted over the years. When they first came out for five years ago they were over £1000 each. Although some are still selling, that they are down to a realistic from £300.

The key to remember is what height do you want to start from and go up to? This is related to the person who is using it and many of the better units have more reliable have twin motors and will cover a large larger distance ranging from around 600 mm up to 1200 mm.

Many have memory built into the unit so you’re not going up and down all the time with two buttons are Oscar3 is a very good example of this also remember that if required the mechanism can be fitted to existing desktop which can save cost and keep a consistency throughout the office in conjunction with a stall for resting in the standing position. This again is another method of easing any back issues one comment I get from people regarding high adjustable desks as they don’t want to stand all day what you’ve got to remember is the idea is to do both: move roughly every 50 minutes and it could be up or down sit on a chair then stand at the desk, but you need to keep moving.

I have been selling these into the medical profession over the last few years. One Dr surgery has purchased 15 all consultants now have this height adjustable desk. We have produced a large number for areas where microscopes are being used. This allows the consultants to put the microscope at precisely the right height in conjunction with its own adjustment And it’s easy and flexible to move.
